Laylat al Qadr
1. Ayatullah Shaykh Lutfullah Safi Gulpaygani said :
"Fatimiyyah is Aashura, Fatimiyyah is the night of al QADR, Fatimiyyah is Ghadeer, Fatimiyyah is the 15th of Shaban and Fatimiyyah is, in its true essence, the day of victory of Light over darkness"

2. Verse 3 of Surah Qadr
لَیْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ اَلْفِ شَهْرٍؕؔ
“The grand night is better than a thousand months”
Imam Jafar Sadiq ع said :
“This ayah refers to Fatima (sa)”

3. Muhammad b. Qasim said that Imam Jafar Sadiq ع said :
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ. أَللَّيْلَةُ فَاطِمَةُ وَ الْقَدْرُ اللهُ. فَمَنْ عَرَفَ فَاطِمَةَ حَقَّ مَعْرِفَتِهَا فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ. وَ إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةَ لِأَنَّ الْخَلْقَ فُطِمُوا عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِهَا
"Indeed We revealed it (the Qurʾan) on the Night of Ordainment"
‘The in-depth (tawil) interpretation of ‘The Night (al-Layl)’ is Fatima (sa) and the in depth (tawil) interpretation of ‘Ordainment (al-Qadr)’ is Allah. Therefore, a person who has truly grasped a deep understanding of Fatima (and who she is) has actually witnessed and experienced the Night of Ordainment
Indeed Fatima (sa) was called by this name as the creations have been prevented from truly knowing and having a deep understanding of Fatima (sa)"

4. Imam Sadiq ع informs regarding the verse
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْناهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
“Night is Fatima (sa) and Qadr is the decree of Allah. So, one who recognizes Fatima (sa) with due recognition has attained Lailatul Qadr. Surely, Fatima (sa) has been named thus because the creation are separated from her recognition. As for Allah’s saying ‘The Night of Power is better than a thousand months’ it means (Fatima) is better than a thousand believers and she is the mother of believers. The angels and the Ruh al-Qudus descend in it – the angels here refer to the believers, those who possess the knowledge of the progeny of Muhammad ﷺ and Ruh al Qodos refers to Fatima (sa)….”

5. Ayatullah Naser Makarem Shirazi says
"Fatima Zahra (sa) is the spiritual interpretation of “لَیْلَةٌ” – ‘the night’ which has been mentioned in both Suratul Qadr and also Suratul Dukhan and that this woman, with her Divine Celestial Light, is the true reality (haqiqat) of the Quran"

6. Surah al Qadr begins with Janab e Fatima Zahra (sa) and ends with Imam Mahdi ع
Imam Sadiq (as) said :
"The grand night is better than a thousand months" (verse 4)
It refers to Janab e Fatima Zahra (sa)
"The angels and the spirit descend in it" (verse 4)
Refers to the believers who possess the knowledge of the progeny of Holy Prophet ﷺ
"And the spirit" (verse 4)
Refers to Ruhool Qudus ie. Janab e Fatima (sa)
"From all the affairs" (verse 4)
Refers to everything which is complete
"Till the break of the morning" (verse 5)
Means till the reappearance of Qaem ع

7. Imam Baqir ع said :
"Oh Abu Hazeyl, the Laylat al Qadr is not hidden from Us, for the angels circle Us during it"

8. Imam Baqir ع said :
"In every Laylat al Qadr, Jibrael along with other angels pays allegiance to His eminence ie. Imam Mahdi ع"

9. Imam Baqir ع said :
"On the night of power (Lailatul Qadr) the interpretation of all the affairs is revealed to the Imam, which is related to him and to the people of his time and in other times every special knowledge of Allah and all the secret sciences and many strange treasures of knowledge are revealed to the Imam of the time"

10. Imam Jafar Sadiq ع said :
“On the night of Qadr “wherein every wise affair is made distinct” (Quran 44:4), a crier will call out from inside the Arsh, “Allah has forgiven everyone who has performed the Ziarat of the grave of Hussain (asws) on this night”

11. About the person who doesn't accept Shab e Qadr
Umar bin Yazid asked Imam Sadiq ع
"What is your view about the one who does not accept your position in Shab-e-Qadr as you mentioned and he does not reject it also"
Imam Sadiq ع said:
"Indeed, if argument is complete on a person with regard to our knowledge and he is still not satisfied, he is a KAFIR"

12. Holy Prophet ﷺ said :
"Believe in Laylat al Qadr because in that night Allah reveals His 'Amr' (command). Allah reveals His 'Amr' on that night upon My successors after Me who are in the lineage of Ali ibn Abi Talib ع and the Eleven Imams from His lineage"

13. Regarding the Verse 4 of Surah Qadr -
“The angels and Gibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair”
Imam Jafar Sadiq ع narrates, “My Father narrated for Me that Ali ibn Abi Talib ع recited the ayahs of Sura Qadr while in the presence of Hasan ع and Hussain ع , Hussain ع said :
“Oh Father! Hearing this sura from Your tongue tastes like something sweet”
Ameerul Momineen ع said :
"Oh Son of RasoolAllah ﷺ ! Oh My Son ! When this chapter was revealed, Your Grandfather, RasoolAllah ﷺ , sent a person to call Me. When I went to Him, RasoolAllah ﷺ recited this chapter for Me. Then He tapped My right shoulder and said, “Oh My Brother, My Successor, My Wali upon My nation after Me and the war against My enemies until the Day of Resurrection ! This chapter is for You after Me and it is for Your Offspring after You. My Brother from amongst the angels, Jibrael ع, informed Me about all of the affairs of My nation which will take place in this year. I swear by Allah that He will inform You just as He informs the prophets. This Night of Qadr has a radiant light in Your heart and the heart of Your Successors til the break of dawn on the day of the reappearance of al Mahdi ع”

14. What happens in the night of Qadr ?
Imam Musa al Kadhim ع narrates from His father Imam Jafar Sadiq ع who narrates fromHis father Imam Mohammed al Baqir ع who says :
"The night of Qadr (is the night) in which Allah sent down the entire Quran to Bayt al Mamoor and then over the course of 23 years it was revealed through RasoolAllah ﷺ. On the night of Qadr every affair of haq (truth) and batil (falsehood) as well as everything that will occur in the upcoming year is written by Allah. On that night changes in one’s destiny also take place. Allah will bring forward that which He wills and delay that which He wills in matters relating to death, rizq (sustenance), trials, difficulties, and illnesses. He will increase and decrease that which He wills.Then the destiny will be received by RasoolAllah ﷺ and from Him it will be given to Ameerul Momineen ع and from Him to the Imams ع until it is given to Al-Mahdi ع who will be informed of the destiny and its conditions like changes, will, as well as its increasements and delays”

15. A merit specially for Imam Ali ع on the night of Qadr
Holy Prophet ﷺ said :
"The moon talked to Imam Ali ع on night of Qadr"
The following statement is taken from the book Al-Qatra by Sayed Ahmad Mustanbat Vol. 2, Pg. 205, and Hadith. 57 From the book ‘Al-Majmoe al-Raiq min azhaar al-Hadaiq’ , v 2, pg 320
16. Night of Decree & Descent of Wilaayah
Mufazzal Ibn Umar narrates that the verse:
إِنّٰا أَنْزَلْنٰاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ اَلْقَدْرِ
'We have indeed revealed this (Quran) in the Night of Decree'
Surah Qadr (97): Verse 1
was mentioned in the presence of Aba Abdillah Imam Sadiq ع . Imam Sadiq ع exclaimed:
'How evident is the merit of this night over all other months !'
I asked: 'What is its merit ?'
The Imam ع replied: 'The Mastership (Wilaayah) of Ameer al-Momineen ع descended in it'

17. The Night of Qadr and the Prophet ﷺ forseeing the tragedy that would befall upon Ameer al Momineen ع
أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ كَثِيراً مَا يَقُولُ مَا اِلْتَقَيْنَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ اَلتَّيْمِيُّ وَ صَاحِبُهُ وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ« إِنّٰا أَنْزَلْنٰاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ اَلْقَدْرِ » وَ يَتَخَشَّعُ وَ يَبْكِي فَيَقُولاَنِ مَا أَشَدَّ رِقَّتَكَ بِهَذِهِ اَلسُّورَةِ
Imam Sadiq ع says:
Ameerul Momineen ع used to excessively say that whenever Taymi (Abu bakr) and his friend (Umar) whenever we met Holy Prophet ﷺ , He ﷺ used to recite surah qadr (verse 1) with fear and in tears so both of them used to say: How you have been so extremely affected by this chapter?
فَيَقُولُ لَهُمَا إِنَّمَا رَقَقْتُ لِمَا رَأَتْ عَيْنَايَ وَ وَعَاهُ قَلْبِي وَ لِمَا رَأَى قَلْبُ هَذَا مِنْ بَعْدِي يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
Then He ﷺ said to both of them: I have only been affected due to whatever my eyes have seen and my heart has retained and whatever the heart of this man will see after Me ie: Imam Ali ع

Conclusion ;
So the Night of Qadr is the Night of Wilayah as well
We find Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) saying regarding Laylat al Qadr :
"This is the night in which the Wilayah of Ali ع was revealed"

It is for this reason that after we place the Holy Quran upon our head and ask Allah by every word and letter (to grant us our needs), we go to the 14 Ma’sumeen, ‘Bi Muhammadin, Bi Alliyyin, Bi Fatima…’ because nothing comes to us and our prayers will not be elevated to the Almighty God unless the Ahlul Bayt ع have endorsed it
