After reading our previous article 'Refuting the Fitnah Mongers' part 2, the Nasibi's tried to answer us by counter questioning
Question :
Even though Khidhr ع killed the child for his future crimes, why didn't Holy Prophet ﷺ killed the killers of her daughter for their future crime ?
So, your argument here
No punishment before the crime committed is useless
Why it didn't applied to Khidhr ع but it applied to Holy Prophet ﷺ ?
Reply 1 :
Surah Kahf :
v 80 :
'And as for the boy, his parents were believers and we feared lest he should make disobedience and ingratitude to come upon them'
v 81 :
'So we desired that their Lord might give them in his place one better than him in purity and nearer to having compassion'
So what conclusion do we derive from this incident ?
WHEN A PROPHET DOES SOMETHING, THERE'S ALWAYS SOME WISDOM BEHIND IT
This could be a reason, that even though the Prophet ﷺ knew that what would be the So-called companions would be doing with her daughter after his martyrdom because
There is always a Wisdom behind His ﷺ actions and he may perhaps wanted to expose the true face of the So-called companions before the whole world
Reply 2 :
The Prophet ﷺ and the Imams (as) are commanded to abide by the outward nature of the divine law and for that reason they cannot punish someone before a crime even if they know that the crime will be committed.
On the other hand, as it is clear from the verses concerning Khidr, he is not ordered to conform to the same rules and so his responsibility differs from that of the Prophet ﷺ . Khidr's actions were not independent of the Will of God and that is why he is not blamed in the Qur'an
